Last week 160 Goodwill advocates met with nearly 300 lawmakers and staff on Capitol Hill to advocate for Goodwill Industries International’s public policy priorities. As Congress considers what can be accomplished before the elections, we are working to ensure that our elected leaders recognize the resources that Goodwill brings to the table.

You can still support Goodwill’s efforts and be an advocate even if you weren’t able to join us in DC. Contact your congressional representative by sending a letter through the GII Legislative Action Center and join hundreds of your fellow Goodwill supporters as we ask Congress to:

Goodwill’s services are needed now more than ever. Government resources are shrinking. The income gap is widening. Poverty is still pervasive. Unemployment remains high, especially in high-poverty communities. Our success depends on vision, faith and the involvement of others. You can help us educate Congress on important issues that impact Goodwill and the people we serve.
