Michael Elder Giving Circle is named in honor of former Goodwill President & CEO, James Michael Elder. Michael devoted more than 40 years of his life to Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, with a laser focus on creating opportunities for individuals and families to gain the skills needed to grow and prosper. His leadership inspired hope for the future, and we are proud to continue his legacy.
