Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hosting its fourth annual Bridal Pop-Up Sale on Saturday, March 4! We caught up with Rhiannon Ward, who found her dream dress at last year’s sale for a fraction of the price, to hear her top five tips for brides planning to attend the 2023 event.
- Be open-minded. Sometimes soon-to-be brides can be close-minded and only look for dresses that have a specific style, material or feature – and that may actually hinder them from finding the perfect dress.
- Go early! Since Goodwill’s Bridal Pop-Up Sale is first come, first served, it’s best to get there early and beat the crowd.
- Don’t take too many people with you. You may like something that your bride tribe doesn’t and that could throw you off. Take just a couple people with you – those whose opinion you value most.
- Don’t be afraid to try on too many dresses! Take your time to explore different dresses until you find the one that just feels right!
- Have fun! This should be one of the happiest chapters of your life.
