Meet Jason.
After completing Goodwill’s vocational counseling and employment skills training services, he landed a job at Red Robin, where he continued to receive support from Goodwill Job Coach David Washam.
“I was at home with nothing to do,” Jason says. “Nothing but good things have happened since I started at Goodwill.”
Enthusiastic and hard working, Jason was the recipient of a GoodWork Award at our 2008 Cornerstone Celebration (you can watch his acceptance speech here).
“When it was time for me to move on, my job coach helped me find a job at Red Robin in the University area,” Jason says. “David stayed with me until I learned to do the job myself. The people at Red Robin are very nice and I want to thank them for giving me a chance to work there.”
This week, we got the exciting news that Red Robin named Jason Front of House Team Member of the Month back in June. We’re so proud of Jason’s success.
