Want to give back to the community while cleaning out the clutter? Goodwill donation drives are an excellent way to involve your employees or members in a meaningful service project, encourage teamwork and demonstrate your organization’s commitment to the community. Learn which opportunity is right for your business, school, or community organization.

Business Donation Drives

Companies may sponsor donation drives targeting employees and the public when applicable. We bring an attended donation trailer or receptacle bins to your business to allow interested parties a convenient opportunity to donate.

Neighborhood Donation Drives

Is your neighborhood hosting a community yard sale? Let Goodwill help clean up. We can bring out an attended donation trailer and collect those leftover items.

Organization Donation Drives

Whether you’re representing a school, club or church, your organization can host a Goodwill donation drive to collect general donations or ask for specific items, such as a coats or shoes.

University Donation Drives

Goodwill works with local colleges, universities and affiliated campus groups to hold donation drives. From unwanted clothing to textbooks, these drives are a helpful way to lighten students’ loads before move-out day and encourage recycling practices.

Electronic Donation Drives

Does your business, organization or school have electronic items they’re no longer using? Donate your old devices to Goodwill! Donating your working or non-working electronics to Goodwill not only keeps environmentally hazardous materials out of landfills, it powers local job training programs and employment opportunities. Through the Dell Reconnect partnership, we’ll make sure your electronics are refurbished to sell in our tech store, The GRID, or disposed of responsibly. And if you have data security concerns, don’t worry! Goodwill destroys data left on hard drives.

All donors receive a tax receipt for their records. To learn more about hosting a drive, contact Bill Hall, Director of Transportation & Logistics, at William.Hall@goodwillsp.org or 704-393-6882.
