August is here and that means students are preparing to head back to school. But this year, things are a bit different.

With the challenges brought on by the pandemic, some students will return to school and adults may return to work in-person for the first time in more than a year! In that time, seasons have passed, and trends have changed.

Here are Stacee’s top tips for styling your back-to-school or back-to-business outfits this fall:

1. Denim never goes out of style, but with so many looks to choose from, you may want to narrow it down to a darkwash denim, which you’ll see more of as we head into fall. Pro tip – pair a denim jacket with an outfit to spruce it up.
2. The office dress code may be a bit more casual this fall. Look for traditional pieces like jackets and blazers that can easily transform a casual shirt or dress into a look for the office or a night out.
3. When shopping shirts, go for plaid button-ups, band, racing or nostalgic tees.
