We invite you to the first-ever On The Table Charlotte, a day for Mecklenburg County residents to come together and talk about the community we love. On The Table Charlotte is designed to connect people to new ideas, perspectives and ways of thinking about the issues that directly or indirectly impact our local community.
On Wednesday, October 25, more than 5,000 people will gather in small groups in restaurants, coffee shops, and living rooms to discuss a common topic: the role of social capital in economic opportunity.
Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont will be hosting an On The Table Charlotte discussion at the Leon Levine Opportunity Center on the Goodwill Opportunity Campus on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 8 – 9:30 a.m. The conversation will be facilitated by Jean Veatch, Strategic Project Lead at Duke Energy and a member of Goodwill’s Board of Directors. Parking is free onsite. Muffins and coffee will be provided by Community Table Bistro, our on-site restaurant.
