This morning, we brought our truck to Bank of America Stadium and loaded up 175 working televisions and eight touchscreen kiosks that were used throughout the stadium and by the Carolina Panthers’ coaching staff.
As the Panthers upgraded their equipment during the off-season, the team wanted to ensure the electronics, valued at more than $10,000, could benefit the local community. We’ll be placing them on the sales floor this Saturday at six local Goodwill stores, with the proceeds benefiting our job training and employment programs.
“When we considered the impact the sale of televisions could have through programs that serve the unemployed and underemployed in our community, it was an easy decision,” says Riley Fields, Director of Community Relations for the Panthers. “Goodwill does a tremendous job of empowering people and their services are needed now more than ever.”
Want one? You’ll find them for sale at these locations this Saturday, July 17, at 9 a.m.:
