Every year during the first full week of May, Goodwill® organizations across the country come together to celebrate the power of work. This celebration is known as Goodwill Week. Through events and promotions, our goal is to educate our local community on the true nature of Goodwill’s mission, which goes far beyond our retail stores and donation centers. Goodwill exists to help people see possibilities, seize opportunities and prosper.
In honor of Goodwill Week, wardrobe stylist & fashion insider Stacee Michelle shopped the GW boutique to find stylish career looks to prepare you for your next job interview and update your everyday workwear. While classic suits and blazers are a must in everyone’s wardrobe, Stacee also pulled in some beautiful blouses and dresses to transition from work to weekend. SILK & SATIN SHIRTS
A beautiful silk or satin blouse adds a hint of sophistication. Jewel tones like turquoise, purple, or pink will compliment your skin tone and pair well with a variety of bottoms.
PATTERN BLOUSES ADD ACCESSORIES
Pattern blouses are a great addition to your workwear wardrobe because of their versatility. Stock up on solid neutral pants to keep it simple and swap out your tops to switch up your look. Transition to the weekend by throwing on a pair of denim shorts and some fun sunglasses to pull out the color.
