Interplay Learning is partnering with Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont to host Interplay Learning Day – an opportunity for you to experience Goodwill’s digital training platform for craft trades! The event will be held on Saturday, November 5, from 1 – 5 p.m. at the Goodwill Construction Skills Training Center, located at 1335 Alleghany Street in west Charlotte.
This event will showcase Goodwill’s digital training platform for craft trades – such as construction, electrical, HVAC, solar and maintenance – through Oculus headsets in the metaverse. In addition to the opportunity for hands-on experience with this unique training medium, you’ll also learn about all of the services we offer at Goodwill – including our Construction and Trade Skills training courses, family stability services, career navigation services, Employer Navigation Team and more. The programs we offer at the Construction Skills Training Center – programs focused on specialized areas like Construction Basics, HVAC, Carpentry and Electrical – help people in our community access high-potential, family-sustaining trade careers at no cost to them. Skills in these specialized areas can lead to in-demand jobs with great earning potential, health and other benefits.
