Whether or not you’re a mother, the “mom jean” is back to raise the roof and the waistline. Skinny jeans had their moment (“as if!”) and denim is coming back in some familiar, and some edgy new ways. - When you think of denim, you may think of jeans first. Stacee looks at the wash, the cut and the brand when shopping for denim jeans. Low-rise, skinny legs had their time to shine, and high-waisted, button-fly, straight legs are back. Consider a raw edge jean short or pants to pair with a graphic tee or a feminine crop top. Who would have guessed that your mom’s old jeans would bring some edge to your 2021 outfits! - Don’t overlook tops when styling denim. Pieces like this lightweight, oversized chambray shirt are the perfect third piece to add to white or dark jean bottoms. Button it all the way up, or pair with a chain necklace. Denim jackets with denim jeans is also a classic look you can sport to any casual occasion.
- Goodwill is the perfect place to find denim skirts that you can make your own. Stacee found this sweet embroidered, button down skirt to pair with a classic striped top. Denim is a blank canvas – use it to express your style!
