The temperatures are slowly dropping, and it’s time to think about more than your Halloween costume. Embrace color this fall season! Warm gold, mochas, eggplant, olive, rust and ruby will be key colors to look for when shopping. Wardrobe stylist & fashion insider, Stacee Michelle, is here to share some wicked cool style tips for getting the look this fall:
TIP 1: Morning Espresso Style
Brown, arguably more versatile than black, can be found throughout collections this fall in all shades from cream to dark mocha brown. Keep it trendy by wearing a pair of brown leather pants, or get wild with an animal print textured jacket. If you are looking for a more subtle approach, try wearing a scarf or boots to incorporate your favorite shade.
TIP 2: Jewel Tones
Items in royal jewel tone colors are a can’t-go-wrong investment because they look great on a wide range of skin tones and can make an everyday look more luxurious. Wearing a monochromatic look is the perfect way to make a statement, or keep it comfortable and stylish with a sweater dress and boots.
TIP 3: Go Bold
Have fun with texture and pattern this season. Treat animal prints as your “neutral” and pair them with any colored outfit. You can find prints in tops, bottoms, dresses, and accessories — you need at least one in your wardrobe. Faux fur, shearling, and boucle are just a few textures you should consider when looking for a new layering piece to add to your jacket and cardigan collection.
