Data Analytics Training

Data analysis is a fast-growing field, and analytical skills are increasingly in demand. In Goodwill’s tuition-free Data Analytics training program, you’ll learn how to inspect, clean, transform, and model data to report on important business decisions using tools like Excel, Power BI, Python, and SQL. When you successfully complete this program, you’ll be prepared to immediately pursue an analytics position.

About the Training

Goodwill’s Data Analytics training program will equip you with the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience necessary to launch or advance your career in the analytics field in just 14 weeks! Classes take place in the evenings and in a hybrid format to make it easier to learn while you work.

: Goodwill’s Data Analytics training program lasts 14 weeks. This is a hybrid (virtual and in-person) program. You must attend all program dates as scheduled.

Mondays & Thursdays

In-person at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus

6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Tuesdays

Virtual

6:30 – 9 p.m.

Additional virtual days will be announced in the forthcoming information sessions.

: Participants will receive a certificate of completion after successfully completing the course.
: To apply to Goodwill’s Data Analytics training program, you must have all of the following:

Critical thinking/analytical reasoning skills

Advanced-level knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel

One year of Information Technology or related work experience.

Strong people skills, such as effective communication skills, flexibility and adaptability

Interest in obtaining a job in the analytics field after successful completion of the program

Advanced-level education in any discipline/field (examples include a college degree, certification, etc.)

*Skills will be validated by an assessment. All candidates must go through an interview and selection process to be considered. You are not selected until you receive an email stating so.
: To complete Goodwill’s Data Analytics training program, you must:

Have no more than three (3) absences

Complete all technical and Goodwill program assignments, projects and activities

Successfully present your final project (Capstone Project)
