Free Tax Preparation
Join us for free tax preparation offered in Spanish. On Thursday, February 5, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Common Wealth Charlotte and Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont are hosting a tax preparation workshop geared toward Spanish speakers at the Gastonia Career & Employment Center, located at 359 W. Main Street. Learn about taxes in the U.S., who needs to pay them, what documents you’ll need, and more.
(One appointment per person. Married couples filing jointly only need one appointment).
VITA program eligibility requirements:
- Annual income of up to $67,000, or $134,000 if married filing jointly.
- Must have a Social Security Number (SSN) or ITIN (Form W-7).
- A valid photo ID is required.

Para recibir servicios gratuitos de preparación de impuestos, debe cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:

- Contar con Número de Seguro Social (SSN) o ITIN (Formulario W-7).
- Presentar una identificación con foto vigente.
