Goodwill’s free Blueprint Reading & Estimating training course covers the fundamentals of reading and interpreting residential blueprints and estimating the quantities of materials and labor required to construct a house. This class adds to the skills learned in our Construction Basics course as a way to enhance skills, learning and preparation for an entry-level helper position. This class offers an opportunity to acquire a ProCore certification, a project management software program used by many industry professionals, and is offered in partnership with Central Piedmont Community College.

Goodwill’s Blueprint Reading & Estimating training course lasts eight weeks. We offer this course in the evenings to accommodate students who may work during the day.
If you successfully complete Goodwill’s free Blueprint Reading & Estimating training course, you will receive a ProCore certification.
In order to enroll in Goodwill’s Blueprint Reading & Estimating training course, you must first successfully complete Goodwill’s Construction Basics training course.
