Goodwill’s free seven-week Construction Skills Training program assists individuals in quickly developing the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain a position in the construction industry. Training topics include construction math, blueprint reading, hand and power tool use, material handling, safety and more. The program is taught by National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certified instructors and is offered in partnership with Central Piedmont Community College. All training is free of charge for Goodwill clients.

How to Register:
To enroll in a training program, come to the Goodwill Opportunity Campus so that you can meet one-on-one with a specialist who can help you get started. You don’t need an appointment – simply show up whenever it’s convenient for you.
Classes run Tuesday – Thursday, 6 – 9:30 p.m. with two Saturday classes from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on October 27 and November 3.
