Did you know that today (Friday, February 17) is National Random Acts of Kindness Day? We were ready to celebrate the holiday by surprising our team members at Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont!
We began the day by bringing an early breakfast for our retail maintenance team before they headed out into the field for a day of hard work in our territory. We’re so appreciative of all that John, Mike and Corey (pictured above) do to keep our retail stores, attended donation centers, Job Connection locations and GoodWork Staffing offices in tip top shape!
Later in the day, we surprised our facilities department with lunch! Their work often flies under the radar and behind the scenes, and we’re so thankful for everything they do to keep the Goodwill Opportunity Campus in excellent order. Thank you to Mahalia, Chris, Eddie, Lester, Vince, Kisha, Vera, Waheed, David, Wayne and Jerry!
Spreading kindness doesn’t have to be limited to once a year on National Random Acts of Kindness Day, so get out there and do something nice to give yourself and someone else a happy feeling!
