In Goodwill’s free Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics Certification training course, participants will learn about the importance of supply chains and the flow of goods; warehouse, distribution and fulfillment center design and operations; how to calculate key performance metrics and why they are important; safety measures, techniques, career paths and more. We offer this course in both Charlotte at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus and at our Career Center in Gastonia.

Course Format

In Goodwill’s free Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics Certification course, participants will join the virtual classroom via the student training portal. This course includes a self-paced, online curriculum and instructor-led guided sessions, as needed.

    Course Timeframe

    Goodwill’s Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics Certification training course lasts two weeks. It requires 12 total learning hours, and includes a completely virtual learning experience, coupled with instructor-led guided sessions, as needed.

    Certification Opportunities

    Goodwill’s Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics Certification training course is divided into three sections. At the end of each section, participants will take an exam. At the conclusion of all three exams, an average will be determined for passing. Upon completion of the course and successfully passing the three short exams, participants will receive a certificate as a Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics Specialist from the National Retail Federation (NRF) in conjunction with the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM). This certificate does not expire. Participants will also receive a certificate of completion from Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont.

    There are no prerequisites for this course.
