Customer Service Experience for Supervisors Training

Goodwill offers a free customer service course for those interested in becoming a supervisor! In Goodwill’s Customer Service Experience – Pro for Supervisors training course, participants will explore the customer experience from a supervisor’s perspective. In this five-day, 15-hour in-person course, participants will discuss the various issues that affect supervisors and how to effectively maintain a customer service culture in the workplace with the teams they lead. Participants will learn tips on how to effectively communicate, essential skills that are important to supervisors, the importance of building relationships with their teams and how to effectively resolve conflict within the teams they lead.

Course Format
Goodwill’s free Customer Service Experience – Pro for Supervisors training course meets in person at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus, located at 5301 Wilkinson Boulevard in west Charlotte.
Course Timeframe
This course lasts five days and consists of 15 total learning hours. Class meets from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Certification Opportunities
Upon completion of Goodwill’s Customer Service Experience – Pro for Supervisors training course, you’ll receive a Goodwill University Certificate of Completion.
Prerequisite
Before taking Goodwill’s Customer Service Experience – Pro for Supervisors course, participants must first successfully complete Goodwill’s foundational Customer Service Experience course.

As a participant in one of Goodwill’s intensive training programs, you will be paired with a Career Navigator who will provide comprehensive and accelerated services to prepare you to advance and leverage career readiness and essential skills. They will provide ongoing career coaching activities such as resume development, elevator pitch, mock interviews and more. As you near completion of your training course, you will be connected with a member of the Employer Engagement Team for employment assistance. The Employer Engagement team partners with employers to facilitate employer led trainings, site tours, hiring events, and direct placements into high-paying industry related employment opportunities.
