Customer Service Experience Training

In Goodwill’s free Customer Service Experience training course, participants will learn how to excel in customer service—effectively understanding the use of technology and the difference between offering services vs. providing an awesome experience. Participants in Goodwill’s Customer Service Experience training course will explore the essential skills needed to succeed in the customer service field, learn how to continue to grow and develop those skills, and examine the importance of effective communication and body language during the customer experience, all while learning to help customers feel heard, maintain great customer relationships, develop customer service problem-solving skills and de-escalate challenging situations.
Course Format
In Goodwill’s free Customer Service Experience training course, you’ll join the virtual classroom via Zoom to practice and apply the skills and techniques covered using group exercises and discussions.

Course Timeframe
Goodwill’s Customer Service Experience training course lasts five days. The first day, Monday, includes a mandatory information session and then class meets virtually Tuesday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for one week.

Certification Opportunities
Upon completion of Goodwill’s Customer Service Experience training course, you’ll receive a Goodwill University Certificate of Completion.

There are no prerequisites to take Goodwill’s Customer Service Experience course.
