- For your cool, throwback graphic tee? Add metallics and/or leather! Add flavor to a retro graphic tee with a metallic skirt or leather bomber jacket. To create an even trendier look, boldly mix metals to layer on top.
- For your vintage coat or blazer? Pair it with a classic silhouette. Let your vintage find shine by pairing it with a fitted solid tank or turtleneck. Classic silhouettes in dark colors compliment your figure and your printed overlays or oversized items like dusters, blazers and jackets.
- When in doubt, throw on distressed denim! Distressed denim adds a modern spin to vintage pieces. Nakisha’s pro tip: Pick black ripped denim to add a bit of edge to your look to bring an effortlessly cool vibe to a grandma-inspired item.
