As part of our mission to help people find and secure family-sustaining employment, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont will host two job fairs on March 15 in Charlotte and Gastonia.
The job fair at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus in Charlotte is taking place Thursday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Leon Levine Opportunity Center at 5301 Wilkinson Blvd. This event will bring employers seeking candidates for general warehouse, equipment operator, truck and bus driver, mail carrier and material handler positions. With more than a dozen companies planning to attend, job seekers will meet hiring representatives from the following employers:
- AAA Carolinas
- Alsco
- American & Efird
- Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (Transportation Department)
- Conn’s
- Frito-Lay
- Loomis
- Pactiv
- Piedmont Airlines
- Snyder’s-Lance
- Two Men and A Truck
- USPS
The Gastonia job fair will feature GSM Services, who is seeking candidates for multiple crew leader, roofing and HVAC positions. This event will also take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Goodwill Job Connection at 116 Armstrong St.
Attendees should dress professionally (no jeans, t-shirts or sneakers) and bring several copies of an up-to-date resume for possible on-site interviews.
