Goodwill Hosts IT Info Sessions for Interested Applicants

Are you interested in learning valuable technological skills that can launch your IT career and make you more marketable to employers? Did you know that Goodwill offers free IT training with a variety of courses to choose from?

We’re holding two information sessions on Wednesday, February 13, at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus – located at 5301 Wilkinson Boulevard in west Charlotte – for those interested in enrolling in our next round of IT Training programs. The courses we’ll be offering in our next cohort include Fundamentals of IT, Quality Assurance Analyst, Web Development, Salesforce, and IT Helpdesk/CompTIA A+.

Are you unsure how to get started? That’s ok! At the information session, we’ll cover the following information:

  • details about each course (length of course, course start dates, etc.)
  • eligibility and requirements
  • becoming a Goodwill client (and becoming eligible to enroll)
  • additional enrollment details (TABE testing, etc.)

As a reminder, all applicants MUST attend an information session either in person or via Facebook Live prior to enrolling in one of our IT Training programs. Enrolling in one of our IT Training programs takes six steps, and attending an information session is the second step in the process. You can learn more about the other steps by clicking here.
