Junior Cybersecurity Analyst Training

The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst training program is designed to equip students with the foundational skills necessary for entry-level positions in the Information Technology field, specifically in network security, digital forensics, and ethical hacking. Through a combination of interactive media, videos, and hands-on exercises, participants develop practical cybersecurity skills, ranging from threat mitigation to post-incident forensics.

About the Training

Goodwill’s Junior Cybersecurity Analyst training program will equip you with the knowledge, skills and certifications you need to successfully begin your career in IT in just 24 weeks!

: Goodwill’s IT Support Specialist training program lasts 24 weeks, consisting of a 12-week Networking course followed by a 12-week Cybersecurity course. This is a fully virtual program.

Tuesdays: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. (Self-directed lab)

Thursdays: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. (Instructor-led; virtual)
: The program covers key areas such as endpoint security, network defense, cyber threat management, and vulnerability risk management, with a focus on both Linux and Windows environments. It also includes labs using Virtual Machines and Packet Tracer. Suitable for learners of various ages and educational backgrounds, the program prepares students for roles such as Junior Cybersecurity Analyst.
: The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst training program offers the opportunity to earn a Networking Certification and Cybersecurity Certification.
: To apply to Goodwill’s Junior Cybersecurity Analyst training program, you must:

be 18 or older

have a high school diploma/equivalent or higher

have a passion for technology

be dedicated to job placement immediately upon graduation

have basic computer knowledge

An assessment will validate skills, and all candidates must complete an interview and selection process for consideration. You’ll only be officially selected upon receiving a confirmation email from Goodwill University.
