Construction Supervisor Training – Gastonia

Offered at the Gastonia Career & Employment Center, this program will help you build the essential skills needed to become an effective supervisor by focusing on key topics such as leadership skills, budgeting, timeline project management, workforce coordination, and more.

About the Training

Goodwill’s Construction Supervisor training program will help you quickly develop the knowledge and skills you need to become a supervisor in the construction industry. Classes take place two nights a week, giving you the flexibility you need to complete your education.

: Goodwill’s Construction Supervisor training program lasts 6 weeks. Class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 – 9:30 p.m. This is an in-person program, and you must attend all program dates as scheduled.
: This program takes place in person at the Gastonia Career Center in Gastonia, North Carolina.
: In order to take Goodwill’s Construction Supervisor training program, you must:

Have at least two years of experience in the construction industry

Have a high school diploma or GED equivalency

Be legally authorized to work in the United States

Successfully pass a math and reading assessment, and have a career conversation
: To successfully complete Goodwill’s Construction Supervisor training program, you must:

Have at least an 85% attendance rate

Complete all assignments and attend meetings with Career Navigation and Employer Engagement
