It’s official. We’re headed to Ballantyne!
We’ve broken ground on a new Goodwill Center in the Capstone Commons shopping center, where we’ll build a new, 12,000-square-foot store and donation center at the intersection of Lancaster Highway and Johnston Road. A convenient drive-thru at the new location will make it easy for donors to drop off donated goods. Plus, we’re incorporating environmentally-friendly elements and a fresh, modern design.
“Goodwill’s mission really comes to life in our stores,” said Barbara Maida-Stolle, our vice president of retail services. “We are excited about expanding into Ballantyne not only to offer good deals for shoppers, but also to showcase how the community’s donations are really making a difference in people’s lives. Since it takes both donors and shoppers for our mission to succeed, growing communities like Ballantyne are a perfect fit for Goodwill.”
