Senior Discount
Each Tuesday, senior citizens 55 years or older receive a 25% discount on donated items at all Goodwill retail stores in the Southern Piedmont territory. A driver's license may be requested as proof of age.
Goodwill Outlet (2901-A Freedom Drive)
Everyone saves at the Goodwill Outlet (view map). The Outlet is similar to an old-fashioned rummage sale. Dry goods are piled high on tables and may be purchased at $1.39 a pound. There is a large furniture section and most items are 50% off. The Goodwill Outlet has a great selection of office furniture and filing cabinets. Other household items are also 50% off. The Outlet store has the largest selection of books of any Goodwill store. Soft cover and kids books are 25 cents and hardcover books are 50 cents.
